Hello! My name is Bianka Decilia, and I am honored to serve as the School Social Worker here at Cliffdale Elementary School. I recently graduated with my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Fayetteville State University in North Carolina, and I am excited to bring my training, passion, and dedication to supporting students and families in our school community.

As a school social worker, I enjoy walking alongside students, parents, and teachers to help ensure every child feels supported academically, socially, and emotionally. My goal is to connect families with resources, build strong relationships, and help create a safe and nurturing school environment where children can thrive.

Outside of my professional life, I am blessed with a wonderful family. I have an amazing husband, and together we are proud parents of four beautiful children, who inspire me every day to continue helping other families and children reach their full potential.

I look forward to working together to make this school year one of growth, encouragement, and success for every student at Cliffdale Elementary!

At Cliffdale, we use Positive Behavioral Intervention & Supports (PBIS) to improve school safety and promote positive behavior.  PBIS is a process for supporting and encouraging All-Star students to use positive behavior strategies as common practice.  All students learn and implement the STAR pledge as a part of PBIS:

Safety first
Take responsibility
Always be a problem solver
Respect yourself and others
Strive for success

Students are able to earn ClassDojo points for display of positive behaviors and use these points to cash in for prizes. ClassDojo is the platform used at Cliffdale to communicate within the school community.  With a PBIS focused approach, we are committed to creating a safe and productive learning environment where teachers can teach, students can learn, and all can “Practice Being Excellent, because Excellence is a Habit.”
