Greetings and Welcome Stallion students and families to the 2024-2025 school year at Howard Learning Academy (HLA), Cumberland County’s premier non-traditional school. The Howard Learning Academy School Administration is excited to serve this year as dedicated partners with our learning community to create culture, change mindsets and cultivate character.

Our mission at Howard Learning is to inspire our youth through a strategic approach that addresses self-regulation, appropriate responses to conflict, motivation, and academic excellence while preparing students to transition back into the comprehensive school setting.  Relationship building is an integral part of our school family. Parents and students, we need you to partner with our faculty and staff to ensure students are growing socially and academically. When families enroll at Howard Learning Academy,  students will be a part of a nurturing,  structured environment where collaboration with all stakeholders is of the utmost importance.  We are committed to maintaining open lines of communication and welcome constructive feedback, ideas and suggestions.  Here’s to an amazing school year, where positivity and success will be achieved!
